The Lycian Way consists of 32 trails with varying degrees of difficulty. The entire route is marked according to the international “Grande Randonnée” standard, using a red-white marking system.

A red “X” indicates a path that should not be taken. In addition to the painted signs, there are informational boards at trail intersections. However, natural conditions can cause the signs to fade or disappear, so it is vital to use a GPS device or download offline maps on mobile applications.

While the route offers stunning bays and scenic views, it also presents adventurous moments on rocky cliffs, steep slopes, and challenging trails. Passing through highlands and forests, the path reaches its highest peak at Mount Tahtalı (1,800 meters). This summit offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean and demands good physical fitness due to its difficulty.
