Our team will greet you at Dalaman Airport at 1:00 PM with our exclusive VIP transfer vehicle, one day prior to the tour's commencement. We kindly request that you arrange your flights to align with this designated meeting time. Guests unable to secure flights matching this schedule can explore alternative transportation options from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye (e.g., taxi transfer, approximately 25 GBP). Following your hotel check-in, you will have leisure time to discover Fethiye at your own pace. During this period, you can enjoy leisurely strolls along Fethiye Marina and the coastal promenade, soaking in the refreshing Mediterranean breeze. For those with an interest in history, the Fethiye Museum, Telmessos Ancient City, and the awe- inspiring Amintas Rock Tombs, dating back to 330 BC, are highly recommended. You can also savor panoramic views of Fethiye from the Telmessos Ancient Theater in the city center, discover local crafts and handmade souvenirs at Paspatur Bazaar, and relish the scenery from Fethiye Castle. Boat excursions departing from the harbor offer opportunities to explore the beautiful surrounding bays. For your evening dining pleasure, the renowned Fish Market awaits with its fresh seafood selections and an array of delectable mezes, promising an unforgettable culinary experience. Early reservations are recommended to secure accommodation in rooms with sea views. Guests may also opt for upgraded room categories, such as jacuzzi suites or King Suites.
The Fethiye, Kayaköy, and Ölüdeniz route is captivating not only for its natural splendor but also for its rich historical significance. Our first destination is the Telmessos Ancient City, where a pleasant 10-15 minute walk leads us to the ancient theater. From Telmessos, we proceed to Kayaköy, passing by the Kayaköy Mosque en route to Levissi, also known as the "Ghost Village." Abandoned after the 1923 population exchange, this former Greek village has remarkably preserved its historical fabric. As we traverse the Lycian Way, we will be treated to breathtaking vistas of Ölüdeniz from the slopes of Babadağ Mountain. Here, you can witness the spectacle of paragliders soaring through the sky and landing gracefully in the lagoon. We will descend towards the Blue Lagoon, where a refreshing swimming break awaits. Our overnight stay will be in Ovacık, at our accommodation that exudes the authentic ambiance of the region, offering a chance for relaxation and rejuvenation amidst the echoes of the past.
• Hiking Duration: 6-7 hours
• Distance: 18 km
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Highest Point: 300 m
• Lowest Point: 30 m

The first 5 km of today's trek offer breathtaking scenery. The trail ascends from 300m to 800m, followed by a descent to sea level. A commemorative photo will be taken at the symbolic starting point of the route. After a 2 km stretch of asphalt, the path returns to a dirt track. Faralya, one of the route's highlights, provides an opportunity for a refreshing break and a chance to enjoy a beverage while taking in the views. Upon reaching Kabak, your luggage will have been transferred in advance. Kabak is a significant stop on the Lycian Way, renowned for its history and natural beauty.
Our route from Kabak leads us through olive groves and forest trails to Alınca, and then on to the Ancient City of Sidyma. Along the way, we will encounter historical remnants such as ancient tombs and stone houses. The acropolis of Sidyma is encircled by impressive walls reaching up to 3 meters in height. In the village, elderly women continue to engage in traditional practices such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and weaving. They graciously offer hikers delicious gözleme (Turkish pancakes) cooked in their gardens, preserving local customs. You will have the opportunity to feed and provide water for tortoises with cucumbers, lettuce, and leaves. Our accommodation for the evening will be in a private villa. Enjoy relaxation amidst the fresh forest air and the delights of traditional Turkish cuisine.
Our hike from Sidyma descends through Belceğiz Village to Gavurağılı. This moderately challenging hike offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean and is particularly enchanting in March, April, or May when the route passes through fields of wildflowers. As we traverse through olive and pine trees, stunning sea vistas emerge, rewarding our efforts. At the end of the hike, we will enjoy a refreshing swim at the beach. We will return to our comfortable villa in the evening. Participants will receive journals to document their experiences with the invitation: "Tell your story!"
Today's hike is shorter in duration. Delikkemer is an impressive Roman-era aqueduct, constructed to supply water to the ancient city of Patara. We will reach Patara by following the ancient waterway through olive groves. In the afternoon, we will visit the Patara Ancient City and Xanthos Ancient City. Patara was one of the principal capitals of the Lycian League in the 2nd century BC. Here, you can explore the Roman theater, the Temple of Leto, and remarkable rock-cut tombs. Xanthos held significance as the administrative center of the Lycian League. The heroic resistance of its inhabitants, who set fire to their city during the Persian siege in 545-546 BC, is a notable event in history. Guests may choose to enjoy the afternoon at Patara Beach. We will return to our comfortable villa in the evening.
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Dalaman Airport for your departure.
